APS Emergency Maneuver Training

Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (KIWA), home and headquarters for APS Emergency Maneuver Training, is located in the Phoenix metropolitan area in Mesa, Arizona.

From the US-60 W/Superstition Freeway, take exit 190A toward Arizona Loop 202 S and merge onto AZ-202 S for about 5 miles.  Take Power Road exit 36 and turn left at S Power Road for about 0.5 miles.  Turn Left at East Ray Road.   At your first set of lights, turn right onto S Sossaman Road. As you proceed, you will have a reasonable view of the airport across desert terrain on the left and a golf course on the right as you drive towards the main development of the airport on S Sossaman Road. APS's International Headquarters facility (pictured below) is on left side of Sossaman Road. It is the two-story hangar/office complex (marked 5865) just past the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport Administration building. Our reception office is accessed through the main entrance and then by taking the elevator to the second level. Follow the signs to the flight-line side of the office building. Driving Directions
