Course Description: 3-Day 5-Mission Professional Pilot On-Aircraft / Simulator Jet

This 3-day, 3-mission aircraft / 2-mission simulator course is APS's answer to the needs of serious private pilots, professional pilots (minimum rating of PPL plus Instrument required) and corporate flight departments seeking a new feature in life-saving safety training. This course combines all of the pre-flight ground instruction from the 3-mission Upset Recovery Training program with a thorough Spin Training indoctrination as well as the addition of Instrument Recovery Training. The first 3 flights are on-aircraft (Extra 300L0 and the last 2 in the Level D ERJ Simulator. As in all APS courses, clients receive comprehensive ground, flight and post-flight instruction on situations from stalls to unusual attitudes to fully developed spins, including basic aerobatics to reinforce recovery skills. Aircraft upsets and unusual attitudes can happen just as easily in IMC as they can in VMC … recognize, avoid, recover if necessary ... be prepared.
