Recurrent Loss of Control In-Flight Training
This is my second time doing this training. With hindsight, I found the second training provided me with a better retention of the information. The new part was the instrument recovery training. That was a huge confidence builder. Budget and time permitting, this training should be done every couple of years. A special word of recognition to [my instructor]; As a former aeronautical engineer ( 25 years ago ) I was most impressed with his communication skills and the way his passion and patience foster a positive learning environment. He [made] some relatively complex concepts easy to understand. In closing, a good word must go to [the sales staff], the voice over the phone is, in many ways, the first impression we have of APS.
The whole APS team is great and I hope to be back a third time in the not so distant future.

Importance of Rudder Control in Upset Recovery
WOW! The course was excellent. [The APS Instructors have] the ability to explain seemingly complex material in a manner that anyone can understand. As a pilot with most of my experience in helicopters, [the instructor] was able to make me fully understand the importance of rudder control and coordinated flight. The entire organization maintained the most professional standards during the conduct of daily business.

Upset Recovery is Fundamental to Professional Pilot Training
As a military pilot in Italy, I have been trained to react in a flexible way while remaining focused on the mission objective. In addition, my military training addresses how to react effectively when an unexpected or sudden event occurs in flight.
In my opinion, the APS courses in upset recovery training are fundamental and critical to professional pilot training, whether those career pilots are military or civilian. The professionalism and preparation of the APS instructors, and the structure of the course itself, lead each pilot (even the less experienced ones) to augmenting their aviator skills to quickly recognize a stall, unusual attitude and even a developing spin. As important as awareness and recognition, the course gives graduates an ability to effectively apply strategies to efficiently and consistently mitigate these situations by regaining and maintaining aircraft control while returning the airplane to a stable 'normal' flight condition.
I highly recommend attending the integrated on-aircraft and full flight simulator APS upset recovery course; I'm thoroughly convinced the culminating hands-on CRM upset recovery experience in the level D simulator is essential for every multi-crew, multi-engine pilot.

Upset Recovery Training at its Best
This was the best and most professional training I have ever experienced-for anything. It's also a total blast!
To think how many lives have been lost simply because a pilot or crew lacked the responses this training provides.
Thank You!
P.S. 'Straight and level' has certainly lost it's luster.

Citation Pilot: Upset Recovery Absolutely Invaluable
The APS Stall/Spin Upset Recovery Professional Pilot Program is absolutely invaluable for every pilot at all skill and experience levels. This training should be mandatory for any professional pilot certification and any other pilot concerned about personal and passenger safety.

Jet Aviation Evaluates APS Upset Recovery Training
The curriculum, structure, presentation, and application of the upset training course is nothing short of amazing. The course is not simply about how to correct an aircraft upset, but understanding of forces, aerodynamics, and situations that can lead to an upset. The knowledge and confidence gained was the most productive three days of my career thus far. The ERJ sim at the end of the course provided an exceptional tie-in to transport category aircraft. Overall, I feel pilots will come away from this course with an increased level of awareness as the structure focuses on not only on recovery, but recognition of situations and actions that can lead to an upset. Tremendous value all around.

Best Upset Recovery Course in 25 Years of Military Aviation
The level of professionalism and teaching is beyond compare. The APS team's ability to effectively teach these [loss of control in-flight] skills using the classroom and the aircraft truly reinforces the skills and the ability to complete them. I have completed several other upset recovery courses over 25 years of military aviation and this is by far the most comprehensive and professional training I have attended. This is truly valuable training for every pilot, at any level of experience.

US Marine Corp Evaluation: Loss of Control Training
As an F/A-18 pilot, I thought I understood every aspect of unusual attitudes, [upset recovery], stall, and spin recoveries. I was wrong. Your program was extremely clear and concise and ensured that the maximum amount information was not only delivered by the instructor, but also retained by the student. Your instructors are extremely knowledgeable and proceed at a pace appropriate for each student. Additionally, they ensure the material taught, is understood by the student before proceeding on to additional [loss of control in-flight] concepts. I wish I had signed up for this course years ago! I now sit close to the cockpit when traveling on commercial air carriers to be within shouting distance so I can yell, PUSH- POWER-RUDDER-ROLL-CLIMB, if necessary. I know that regardless of a pilot's previous flight experience, they can greatly benefit from the training you provide. Thank you for the outstanding training and flight experience. I will be sure to send all of my pilots through your program.

Integrated Upset Recovery: Boeing 767 Crew Evaluation
I cannot overemphasize this course enough. This 4-day integrated on-aircraft/FFS/CBT program is by far one of the best training courses I have ever had in my whole career. The training materials - both web and paper-based, top notch professional instructors, and helpful and supportive ground personnel make APS a real must for the professional pilot. I also highly recommend the 1/2-day 4-hour full flight simulator portion. This portion of the integrated training is where everything came together and made sense to my everyday environment!
Please give APS training top priority if you want to become a safer pilot. Thank you guys!

Excellence in Upset Recovery Preparation
[The APS Upset Recovery Training Course] was presented well, both practically and academically. All classroom instruction provided excellent preparation for the following flight periods. I feel that I can perform the proper recovery technique for almost all situations that I could find myself in.
This is valuable training to all pilots ... I developed life-saving loss of control in-flight piloting skills.
